Location: Ecosmic Office in Turin, 3 days of remote work allowed per week

Our goal is to make the space sector sustainable, starting from space operations.
Ecosmic is advancing Space Domain Awareness, making sure that satellite can navigate safely. Our first software solution SAFE helps satellite operators gain insights on the risk of collision for their assets. Our vision is to revolutionise the way space software is built to propel us towards the future of space exploration.
We are a high-tech, data-driven company with an international team of space engineers and computer scientists. Founded in 2023 in the Netherlands, we opened our Italian HQ in 2024.
What you’ll do
As an intern at Ecosmic, you’ll be part of our mission to make space operations smarter, safer, and more sustainable. You’ll work closely with our technical and product teams, contributing directly to the development and improvement of our software solutions used by customers around the world.
Your work will involve enhancing existing tools and exploring new capabilities across different Ecosmic products, from improving performance and accuracy to researching and testing innovative features.
Some examples of what you might work on include:
- Developing and refining models and algorithms to improve the accuracy and efficiency of our software.
- Investigating new data sources and integrating them into our solutions to support better decision-making.
- Analyzing customer data to evaluate product performance and generate actionable insights.
- Designing, testing, and documenting new functionalities that expand the capabilities of our software suite.
You’ll be supported by experienced mentors and a diverse, international team eager to share knowledge and help you grow.
Who you are
- A curious student or recent graduate in Aerospace Engineering or Mathemathics.
- Passionate about space.
- Skilled in Python or C++, with an interest in software development.
- Motivated to learn and experiment.
- Proficient in English and comfortable in an international team.
